About Good in Progress
Good in Progress is a growing collection of true stories about ordinary people who faced a real problem and chose to act, with AI as one of the tools they reached for.
Our mission is to document and celebrate how ordinary people are exercising agency in the AI era and building the future they want to see. Every story is about a person who saw a problem, decided not to wait for permission or a perfect system, and used the tools available to them to do something about it.
The person is always the hero. AI is the tool.

Every story in the collection is filed under one of six lenses, so you can find the angle that speaks to your world.

How Good in Progress verifies stories
Before a story runs here, we make sure:
- The person told it in their own words.
- We check it against other sources with no stake in how it turns out.
- Every claim traces to a quote we can point to, not a paraphrase we hope is true.
- Nothing important is in dispute. When it is, we pass.
The person is always the hero; AI is the tool they picked up. And the sources sit at the bottom of every story, so you can check out the stories for yourself.
